The Community Hub is a space to connect with information and referral agencies, to hear about local events and to develop ideas about how to better serve the Lithgow Community, through Volunteering or Community Development.

Community Conversations

The Community Hub is interested in what is important to the people living in the Lithgow LGA. The Hub regularly attends events on the street to ASK people about their hopes and aspirations for the community. It also runs in-depth Community Conversations to find out what is important to the people who live here.

This information is used to create public knowledge about how the community feels and informs our programs and practice.

Community Interagency Dates

The Lithgow Community Interagency is a network of local organisations and services that meet bi-monthly at LINC to share information network and develop partnerships.

This group is run by volunteers for community members to connect together over a café style environment.

Starting the 9th of November.

Thursday’s weekly, 12:30 to 2:30pm in the LINC Hall.

A variety of items will be available on the day, examples may include:

  • Toasted Sandwiches 
  • Teas & Coffee
  • Sweets
  • Raisin Toast

If you’d like to make some new friendships and connections come and join us, no bookings required.

Scouts can take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting canoeing, canyoning, snow activities, rock climbing, sailing and even flying! Scouts also have the opportunity to become involved in performing arts, leadership development, community service, amateur radio operation, environmental projects, large-scale Australian events, such as Cuborees, Jamborees and Ventures, international events and service projects in developing countries.
Scouts is for boys and girls. Joeys start from Kindergarten to age 8. Cubs 8 to 11 year olds, Scouts 11 to 15 year olds and senior scouting groups (Venturers and Rovers) from 15 to 25 years.
