Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON)

The Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON) provides a free, fair and independent dispute resolution scheme for consumers and small business who are experiencing difficulties with their electricity and gas customers in NSW, and some water customers.
EWON can investigate a wide range of complaints, including:

  • disputed accounts, high bills and contracts
  • debts, arrears and payment plans
  • disconnection or restriction of supply
  • actions of a provider that affect your property
  • reliability and quality of supply
  • marketing practices and transfer issues
  • poor customer service
  • concealed leaks …….to name a few

EWON can also assist community organisations with speakers, consumer articles and resources for events.
