CatholicCare – WF provides the Family Mental Health Support (FMHSS) to assist children and young people between the ages of 0 – 18 who are showing early signs of or are at risk of, developing mental health issues and their families. Members of the FMHSS cover various locations including Bathurst, Lithgow, Portland, Wallerawang and Oberon. Providing early intervention support for children, young people and their families by assisting participants improve their mental, social and emotional health and wellbeing to better manage various aspects of their lives.

headspace Lithgow offers young people aged 12-25 a welcoming environment where they can access free and confidential mental health support, health advice, and general information. We are a team of friendly workers who specialise in youth wellbeing. We can discuss and help with any issues from mental health, sexual health and contraception, education support, to drug and alcohol counselling. headspace Lithgow services are available at no cost.

Ochre Medical Centre is a family based practice focusing on improving the health of our community.  We are a bulk billing clinic, ideally located in the Main Street and currently accepting new patients.  Practitioners include Psychiatry, Podiatry and Psychology.

The Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP) connects rural people to the help they need.
We inform, educate and connect individuals, communities and workplaces with appropriate services and programs.  We link people to local mental health services and resources, we educate workplaces and communities about mental health and wellbeing.  RAMHP responds in times of severe adversity, such as drought and partners with services and organisations in NSW to increase RAMHP in rural communities.
RAMHP is a major program of the University of Newcastle Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health. In partnership with each of the rural NSW Health Districts and is funded by the NSW Ministry of Health..
