We are seeking casual Support Workers who have a Certificate III or higher in Disability Services or similar industry eg nursing/paramedics.  Ideally, you will have experience in providing support for persons with a disability with a strong focus on person-centred outcomes.

We have an immediate need for casual staff up to 10 hours per week between 9-3pm for cleaning shifts.  These are generally around 2 hours and can be at the moment up to 10 hours per week.

You need to have excellent communication skills, with a strong desire to achieve results with clients and above all, a great passion for helping those who need our care and support and a willingness to clean and do the occasional overnight shift.

In the role, some of your key responsibilities will be:

    • Assisting participants with personal care, health, and hygiene
    • Assisting participants to work towards achieving their goals and aspirations
    • Assisting participants with involvement in internal and external activities and programs
    • Communicating with families, guardians, advocates as required discussing participants progress and issues.

You will also need a current first aid certificate, working with children check and a police check.
